- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪We are spending the summer at Smithville Lake, volunteering for the Jerry Litton Visitors Center and we have a small dog and cat that travels with us. Recently I took my cat in to Smithville Animal Hospital to have her nails trimmed and they calmed her and got them clipped in no time. I took our dog in to have him checked for heart worm and get him on a heart worm medication along with tick medication due to the large amount of ticks here and mosquitos.
